Andy goldworthy's transient artworks
Andy Goldworthy is a sculpture artist who makes transient artworks using only the nature he sees around him. He is a well known British photographer, sculptor and environmentalist who's artwork has received many awards for his work including an OBE.
He uses transient artwork because he uses it as a metaphor for life as one day we are all going to die, and he realises this and incorporates this into his art. He currently lives and works in Scotland.
I will be including his art style in my final piece.

The hanging tree
The Hanging Tree was made to celebrate Yorkshire sculpture parks 30th anniversary and represents what Andy thinks the tension was between the vegetation and the farmers. It also represents Goldworthy's thoughts on the complex relationship between wood and stone, with wood representing mortal life and stone representing permanent life. The whole piece is a statement shouting, "Life is short!"
